Special Thanks
I would like to make a special thank you to a couple people. ANT’s Army wouldn’t be able to do anything without the help and support of numerous people. However, there are a couple that I have to thank for helping me with SO many things.
- I would like to thank Stephanie Astle of Stephanie Astle Tax Services. She helped ANT’s Army become a nonprofit and helped raise the funds to pay for all of the fees to become a nonprofit, and when I say I truly could not have done it without her, I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart. The woman is absolutely amazing and has more knowledge of taxes than the “big company” we use to use every year. Not to mention, she is 1/10th of the price. They never could have helped me like she did to become nonprofit. Well they might have helped, but it would have cost me another arm and a leg.
- I would also like to thank Market Street Café. They are so very good to me and ANT’s Army. That is where we hold all of our vendor events. They put up with me and my craziness when it gets close to the time for an event. They also cater all of my ANT’s Army cookouts. I put up stockings with items on them to purchase for the kids at Christmas time, and they let me put them all over the restaurant and bar for people to purchase the item on the stocking. They are an amazing family, and they do so much for the community. I am blessed to be able to say they are part of my ANT’s Army family.
- I would also like to thank Kim Compton, who is the Social Worker that I deal with, and Nicole Meekins, who is the Assitant Director over this group. I have known Nicole for years. I don’t always see her because of busy lives, but when I said I wanted to do this, she said “what do you need me to do?” She was there, and anytime I said “can we do this?” She would say “SURE!!”
- Kim was also there, for my 10 million questions I had during the first Christmas we did. I have soooo many questions about gifts and food and all of that. But they put up with me, and now we are starting to get this all down to a system.
- There are so many other friends and family that I couldn’t possibly name them all. However, they are always there, and I know this. I love them all dearly and thank them from the bottom of my heart for putting up with me and for always helping me and donating more than ever!!
